Welcome to Backwater Brewing Company in Wellington’s Pub & Grill.

We have been serving great food since 1989. In 1995 we added the micro-brewery. Backwater Brewing Company is Winona’s only brewery and the first since the early 1960’s.

Our hand-pattied burgers are flame-broiled, using only fresh USDA choice beef. No frozen patties here! We are the only BBQ smokehouse in the area. We slow-smoke our ribs, brisket and pulled pork with our special blend of apple, cherry & hickory wood.
